I Am a Rock God

I have Rock Band. You’ll all be lucky to get a single show between now and Christmas.

Unfortunately, I have to keep it a secret from the Things. So I’ll spend most of my time trying to figure out how to mute the drums, somehow, because they are damn near as loud as a real drum kit when I’m beating on them.

So far, it’s like Guitar Hero +10000. While I was decent at Guitar Hero 1 and 2, Guitar Hero 2 eventually started kicking my ass, right around Freya on Expert.

The Rock Band difficulty seems a little less steep, so far, and once I can have four people playing, I think it’ll be super perfect. Thing 1 on lead, Thing 2 on bass, Thing 3 singing, and me on drums. Perfect.

Except for the highly inappropriate lyrics on some songs. Hmm, darn.

    You suck. I’ve been droping hints about Rock Band or Guitar Hero 3.

    Well, I had to get GH3, too. I mean, RB only comes with one guitar, and I clearly needed two. I found the best way to drop hints is by going to the store with your wife, pointing at items, and saying, “Put that in the cart, plzkthx.”
