I admit it – I’m a huge gaming nerd. My bookshelves groan under the tremendous weight of various Dungeons & Dragons tomes, and I’ve even written more than a few. But for the past couple of years, I’ve been out of gaming because I just didn’t have time. Today, all that changed.

For most people, role-playing games are the weird little diversions that nerds and geeks enjoy with their friends in the basements of their parents’ houses. For some, RPGs bring to mind funky little dice and badly painted plastic and metal models. Others see gaming as that strange, exhausting hobby that takes a hundred books and thousands of hours to play.
Rock Band – The Wail of Shame
I love Rock Band. I love playing the drums on Rock Band. I love the song “Don’t Fear the Reaper.” And yet, somehow, this combination of love has become a thing of hate.

NaNoWriMo – GO!
After successfully completing NaNoWriMo last year, I’m off to the races again. This time, though, I have a purpose.
Halo 3 – Made of Awesome, Covered in Awesome Sauce
After holding off all day yesterday, I finally got a chance to sit down and play some Halo 3. It is good.
Sam’s Stuff #1 – Bioshock
Kim’s got her stuff, so now it’s time for me to get some of my own stuff. Now, one of the things that I really dig that Kim is not at ALL interested is video games. Well she’ll play the Wii, but that’s not really a video game – trust me on this. So I just finished Bioshock – and what did I think about it? Hit the jump, kids!
