The tv personality crossing over phenomenon to different shows bothers me as well. I can’t take anyone on the Today show seriously as a newsperson when I see they also host Big Brother, or Who Wants to be a Millionaire. Somehow I just don’t see Walter Cronkite hosting Family Feud or Wipeout in his day, you know? He took that job seriously. And friggin Katie Couric I just can’t take seriously at all. News is not about being perky. You lost all credibility with me when that became what you are known for. Perky is for daytime tv cooking show hosts (hello Rachel Ray.)
